About the event

Sacral Chakra (Svadisthana)

Creativity is innate, it is something that one taps into rather than learns. When we don’t practice creativity or allow space and time for it, tapping into that part of ourselves may feel intimidating. The Art of Yoga workshops combine a variation of practices to help you shake things up, to move stagnant energy and release creative blockages. These practice may include but not be limited to asana, pranayama, laughing yoga, journaling, yoga nidra, ecstatic dance and crafting.

Each class will expand on a specific chakra system and encompass yoga practices to help heal anc activate these areas of ourselves.

the two hour workshop is divided into two section: the first half is centered around Yoga (pranayama-conscious breathing practices), Asana (Physical postures) and Meditation. The second half will involve journalling and crafting.

What you will need:

-A Journal or a couple blank sheets of paper

-Yoga mats are available but if you have your own feel free to bring it

-We will be making collages! All other supplies will be provided, but if you have some magazines you would like to bring, great!
